May Madness at Marmalade 🍊
From headline shows to new releases and late nights at The Great Escape - here’s what we’ve been up to!
Marmalade Presents: May 2026
Our May edition of Marmalade Presents brought together two exciting artists shaping distinct and deeply soulful sounds. Tessi Nandi captivated the room with her blend of nostalgic soul, R&B, and understated pop, delivering emotionally honest songwriting that felt both intimate and powerful.
Joining her was Tommy WÁ, whose fusion of Afro-inspired soundscapes, indie textures, and retro-soul brought warmth and depth to the night. Drawing from his West African roots and creative energy, his passionate performance left a lasting impression.
Huge thanks to everyone who came through and made the night so special. Relive the energy from the showcase below, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for more exciting artists at our monthly Marmalade Presents at The Ministry - next one 17th June, RSVP below!

The Great Escape & Brighton, thank you!
This year’s Great Escape was a special one. Across two days of showcases, conversations, networking, and late-night moments, H.O.M.E, BSI Merch & Artist Services, and Marmalade brought The H.O.M.E Hub to life by creating a space where artists, creatives, and industry could genuinely connect beyond the chaos of the festival.
A huge thank you to everyone who came through, supported, performed, collaborated, and shared the space with us. From unforgettable sets by EMNW, Mulimba, Parlay, Mac Adams, THE YAZ BAND, and Still Pigeon, to all the conversations and connections made throughout the week! The energy in Brighton reminded us exactly why community matters so much!
We’re grateful to our partners and sponsors MNGR, and Prager Metis for helping make it all possible.
Until the next one!!

A real bucket-list moment for THE YAZ BADN when they had the privilege of performing at TEDxLondonBusinessSchool. The performance is now live on YouTube, check it out here.

rallycap’s debut EP ‘fl baby’ arrives 5th June
Following the release of strangers, a reflective indie-pop single exploring loneliness, connection, and the quiet struggles we all carry, rallycap now prepares to release his debut EP ‘fl baby’ on 5th June.
Across five tracks, the project traces the emotional journey of a young artist navigating identity, home, healing, and growth. From confronting buried childhood pain to learning how to build something meaningful with the people around him, the EP introduces rallycap as an artist unafraid to be vulnerable, honest, and deeply human.
