The Marmalade Spread returns with Yasin El Ashrafi, a community leader, entrepreneur and champion of grassroots music, whose work has been creating opportunities for artists and young people for over 16 years based in Leicester.

Through initiatives including Leicester Music Board, Leicester Music Conference, HQ Familia and Brew Beat Festival, Yasin has dedicated his career to building sustainable infrastructure that supports local talent, strengthens creative communities and makes the music industry more accessible for all.

Brandon sits down with Yasin to explore the power of backing yourself, creating opportunities where none exist, and why building community is key to shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future for the next generation of creatives.
